The team was already starting to thin out, making Allen a key player to their success. This gives coach Johnny Dawkins no choice, but to put all of his faith in his front court players. “We want to make sure Marcus is fully healthy before returning to the court,” coach Dawkins stated before admitting he will certainly be missed.
